Schleuniger ElectrolyteStaining - Model ESU 6 - Sample Staining Unit for Crimp Cross Section Analysis
The ESU 6 Electrolyte Staining Unit is a component of the MicroGraph System, used for creating high-quality cross-sectional images of crimp connections and other samples. The MicroGraph System examines cross-sectional crimps much faster than conventional methods. The ESU 6 Electrolyte Staining Unit allows users to quickly and safely stain a pre-cut cross-section sample for further analysis. The innovative electrolytic staining solution, which has a pH level of 7 (the same as water), makes handling safe and requires no special equipment or training. A built-in staining indicator glows according to the staining process''s strength, giving the operator instant feedback on its effectiveness. Multiple staining pen sizes are available for different sample sizes. The ESU 6 can be used for a range of applications, from crimp cross-sections to welded samples.
Schleuniger MacroZoom - Model 1.3 - Sample Inspection System for Crimp Cross Section Analysis
The MacroZoom Unit 1.3 is a component of the MicroGraph System and allows the analysis of pre-cut cross-section samples in real-time using precise optics and powerful software. The sample inspection system MacroZoom Unit 1.3 uses a lens with 9 incremental zoom levels, which can be calibrated for repeatable and accurate measurements. An optional auxiliary lens expands the field of vision for larger samples. An adjustable LED light ring ensures optimal picture clarity. The CrimpLab software included with this unit is specifically designed for crimp cross-section analysis. Basic functions include measuring height, width, area, and radius values, as well as a strand counter and a crimp area reduction calculator. Images can be stored in multiple formats, with or without measurements. Tolerance specifications can be created for evaluation of the measurements. Once all measurements are captured, the information can be easily transferred to a PDF report.
Schleuniger MicroGraph - Modular System for Crimp Cross-Section Analysis
The modular MicroGraph System creates high-quality crimp cross-sectional images with the SawPolish and ElectrolyteStaining Unit as well as the MacroZoom Unit 1.3 fast. Crimp cross-sectional analysis has become an integral part of the crimp quality process. With the MicroGraph System (MGS), crimp cross-sectional images can be created quickly and accurately. The combined process with the SawPolish Unit, the ElectrolyteStaining Unit, and high-precision optics with the MacroZoom Unit 1.3 allows for a thorough analysis of the connection. Electrical connections (crimped, welded, soldered, or spliced) can be cut (sawed), polished, stained (cleaned), and visually analyzed in one testing process. The modular components can be combined according to individual needs. The optional ergonomically designed work table optimizes the workflow when combining the components. The complete system can also be integrated into mobile cabinets to create a mobile quality station.
Schleuniger SawInspect - Model 6 - Compact Sawing and Inspection System for Crimp Cross Section Analysis
The compact SawInspect System 6 analyzes crimp cross-sections by integrating the SawPolish Unit 6, the MacroZoom Unit 1.3, and the ElectrolyteStaining Unit 6 into one system. The SawInspect System 6 provides crimp quality control for the wire processing industry. This compact sawing and inspection system allows users to create cross-sectioned samples in just a few quick steps. The individual sample is placed in the holder and aligned with a unique saw blade that ensures a clean cut. After cutting, the sample holder is swiftly moved from the blade to the microscope. It rotates 90°, providing a perfect view of the cross-sectioned sample. All necessary parameters can be analyzed using the CrimpLab software. The system can operate as a standalone unit or be mounted on an automatic machine. Various sample holders and the optional 0.2 mm VHM cutting blade enable the processing of diverse crimp contacts.
Schleuniger SawPolish - Sawing and Polishing Devices for Crimp Cross Section Analysis
The SawPolish Unit is a component of the MicroGraph System, enabling users to saw and polish samples quickly and cleanly using a combined sawing-polishing process. The SawPolish Unit comes in three models for sawing and polishing a wide range of crimp connections. The polishing disc is in line with the saw blade for fast and simple processing, and numerous sample holders are available for various applications such as welding, potting, and connector inspection. The SawPolish Unit can process crimp contacts for cross sections up to 60 mm² (1/0 AWG) or a maximum crimp height up to 18 mm (0.70”). The saw blades, available in various widths, will cleanly cut most common materials such as copper, aluminum, steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, titanium, bronze, brass, cast iron, gold, silver, Inconel, Nimonic, Hastelloy, magnesium alloys, and plastic. Other materials may be possible and can be evaluated during sample processing.
Komax MicroLab - Model 10 - Compact Micrograph Laboratory Device
The MicroLab 10 is a compact micrograph laboratory in a case system that measures and evaluates small quantities of B crimps in the 0.5 - 2.5mm processing range. The MicroLab 10 enables quick quality assessment of crimp connections regardless of location thanks to the easy creation of micrographs. For this purpose, samples are clamped in the sample holder of the case system and the cutting, grinding, etching and visualization can be carried out without reclamping. Useful micrographs are created, thus uncovering quality defects at an early stage to prevent expensive failures. A USB digital camera with microscope is integrated for visualization and complete documentation. The user-friendly SmartVision software supports precise and fast evaluation. This enables reliable and quick production approval on site.
Komax MicroLab - Model 11 - Portable All-In-One Micrograph Laboratory Device
The MicroLab 11 is a portable all-in-one micrograph laboratory solution with integrated automatic cutting and semi-automatic grinding functions. The MicroLab 11, despite its compact size, delivers flexibility and mobility. It comes equipped with a high-resolution camera and the Smart Vision v.3 evaluation module, offering impressive micrograph analysis capabilities with minimal investment. Furthermore, the system is adept at handling small wires and accommodating modest production capacities.
